Responsible posting, fact checks

Destroy the culture of India says a PASTOR from AFRICA to spread Christianity.
Two Things .
1. Liberals in India who scream 'FASCISM " at every burp should opine on this strategy of mind control.
2. After all ,G.SUDHAKARAN , the Commie Minister was right in calling these guys as SLAVES, NIGGERS & having SLAVISH MENTALITY !

This is getting to be typical scene now in India where misleading headlines sway public opinion. I got one with an 80 second video attached ant that said Christians want to destroy Indian Culture.  I was shocked - here's my response t the person who forwarded it -
" ... Did anyone even listen to the 80 second clip? I watched it 4 times ..and i could not hear this pastor/evangelist use the words "Destroy Indian Culture" , so all of you guys, please use your head and please stop spreading hate.  The report is written by a person who should be charged for incitement.  And if you want to have an intelligent discussion on culture and how to affect culture, thats welcome. Just observe yourself the dress you wear, the words you speak, the food you eat, the aspirations you hold, what does that say?... is everything exactly the same as when the Hindu culture started?.. we are a country that is a  perfect example of  culture assimilating and expanding but remaining Indian.. Please take down the post in the interest of our culture..

He defended his corner -

Krishna Kumar Prince Beg to differ.

Since you heard the clipping 4 times , I am sure the question , to the pastor, was not lost on you .

In any case the lady asks of the pastor , " How do we save and change India. There is so more idolatary and things ..." The question is clear in tat they find something very wrong in India.

To which he says, " the numbers of missionaries are not enough. Also it is no enough for redemption of the man. Gospel has to affect society Gospel has to change their culture ,their lifestyle and Gospel has to affect their entire lifestyle and so on" (not verbatim but this is what my barely literate mind could decipher from his statement.

BTW, such call for large scale change can be achieved only by negation of what prevails. Now, calling for efforst to change the culture, lifestyle is in my opinion an assault on the sensibilites of a native population and very INSIDIOUS & FASCIST in nature.. This is exactly what ISIS is doing to the ordinary people of Iraq. This is exactly what was done with the native popualtion of Africa , Red Indians, Goa , Spain and other places.

It beggars me as to why would such agents of change expect passive acceptance and demand implict assent to such plans.
So with all dues respect to the fine gentleman that you are , I beg to differ with you and refute your claims of my post as one of hate- mongering , au contraire I would add that someone suggesting that the native culture , lifestyle needs major change is indeed a threat to any society.

and I responded again -
To me its a snip out of a larger interview and being taken out of context with wide and violent ramifications thats uncalled for. The analysis given isnt worth the not so credible report. but the argument has merit if the battle was indeed along those lines and we could take sides. At the drop of a hat, we are ready to turn violent and fight for some grand cause but stupidly fall into manipulations.  To delve into the into the ideology or theology is not my point but  the manipulations and better thinkers like you also getting on the bandwagon is what i am truly worried about.  A comment, a quickly created response, where when in what surrounding.. .. no idea..but here we go defending the nation.. really..I mean come on..   we are a nation that is reacting too quickly and a type of activism thats ISIS like is taking hold.. dont you agree..  How can we .. i mean you and me .. what can we do to make things better.. as a start..lets fight for the right causes.. the poor, the down trodden ,the ones denied justice..   .. .. this is from me who reads all your posts ..even when i understand only half of it..

Krishna Kumar I concur with you on tat we and for that matter the world has enuff issues to prioritize and grapple with to make this a better place.,

The point of my post was to call out the hypocrisy of the so called Liberals who see red at some right winger saying similar stuff and also to point out the Irony tat a person from sub-saharan belt, a hotbed of acute poverty, wanting to change the way India is .

He is a friend and we concurred on closing this, and no malice meant,  an intellectual discussion concluded and India has more serious real worries that fake ones to be dealt with, especially if its coming from a snippet of a conversation form a land far away that has bigger problems than India.
Conclusion - its extremely satisfying that you can have an open discussion on sensitive topics and retain faith in friends, people and humanity at large.

The True Measure of a Technology Leader - Whats a CIO !

What is the true measure of a CIO or a technology leader? Is it simply the number of conferences attended, or the events organized under their name? Or is it something deeper — something more enduring? Did you deliver a keynote that mattered? Did you bring forward a unique perspective, rooted in experience, built through original thought and tested under fire? Did your leadership ripple outward — touching technology, people, industries, even your nation? True leadership is not about being seen. It is about making a real difference — solving problems, building resilience, creating opportunities, and enabling others to rise. Technology Impact: Building Solutions, Not Just Buying Them A true technology leader doesn’t simply implement what's readily available — they shape solutions that fit the real, evolving needs of the enterprise. They move beyond vendor promises and buzzwords , resisting the easy temptation to become another mouthpiece for someone else’s marketing. How...

The Hidden Risks of "Long Term Contracts" and How Modern Enterprises Can Protect Themselves - A Perspective from a Global CIO

The Hidden Risks of "Long Term Contracts" and How Modern Enterprises Can Protect Themselves  - A Perspective from a Global CIO Long term contracts promise stability and predictability. They look neat in proposals and reassuring in boardrooms. Yet in practice they often become rigid, expensive and fundamentally one sided commitments that fail to adapt to real world change. After leading enterprise technology and transformation programs across multiple continents, my experience has been consistent. Long term contracts usually favour the vendor unless the organisation manages them intelligently, fearlessly and with a clear understanding of value. This article brings together practical lessons from industry, academic principles of contract management, risk management frameworks and lived experience from the CIO seat. The goal is simple. To help organisations protect themselves and create contracts that stay relevant, balanced and value driven throughout their life. Why Long Ter...

Awareness and Being Mindful of Our ‘State’

Awareness and Being Mindful of Our ‘State’ There’s a quiet skill that shapes every moment of our lives, though we often miss it in the rush: being aware of our state. Our state—our emotional, mental, and physical condition—is like the invisible atmosphere around us. It colors how we see the world, how we act, and how we react. Stress, anxiety, excitement, fear, calm—each shifts us into a different gear. Sometimes we’re flying. Other times we’re frozen. Learning to become aware of our state, and responding to it with mindfulness, is not about controlling everything we feel. It’s about knowing where we are internally—and choosing the best way to use it. Stress and Anxiety: Common but not identical We’ve all felt stress. We’ve all been anxious. But the experiences, the triggers, the intensity, and the solutions—those are uniquely ours. For one person, public speaking may send the heart racing uncontrollably. For another, a tight deadline may feel like a thrilling game. T...
